Who Are Soroptimists of Camas/Washougal?
The name Soroptimist was coined from the Latin “Soro” and “optima,” meaning, “Best for Women.” Our Club was chartered in 1948 as Soroptimist International of Camas/Washougal.
We are part of a worldwide volunteer organization consisting of over 95,000 women in more than 120 countries. Our members are active, dynamic, professionals and community leaders.
